'I photograph a lot, pushing the button, I never feel it as a meaningful act. Probably I have printed now ± 10,000 photographs and I find that a quite annoying activity. But photos, the sheets of paper on which something can be seen that has an unknown relationship with reality, I can look at it a long time. Still I cannot really contain what I see.'
