The photographs covering the period from 6 January till 11 November 1997 were taken to serve as an addition to my photographic diary. It is part of the photographic notes, which I started to make since 8 November 1992, and will continue to do so till 8 November 2007 on a daily basis. The selection in this book is specially made and was earlier published in the book ‘In the interest of art and its practitioners – fifty years of Society for Artists 1947 – 1997’.
